Small acts, Big smiles

 Providing care on the streets

Imagine sitting on the roadside, no shelter, no food, exposed to the cold weather at night, and scorching heat at day. Hoping that someway things can change.

Harsh right?

When I would go out, I used to unfortunately see people living like that, and it broke my heart.

It was 2021, I was still fairly young, but that did not stop me from wanting to help those poor souls, so with the help of some of my family members , we got blankets (as it was winter) and some samosas (local food),

My brother and I got in the car and we started searching for people. The whole event took a few hours to finish. We managed to provide blankets and food for 6 families.

It was a really nice experience as well, seeing their eyes glow as we offered them food and the smile that covered their whole face.

Few people even danced in joy, and we of course joined them.

Just by providing warmth and some food, they were delighted, and I learnt 2 things.

1, is that providing care to the people who need is a must, even the smallest things we can provide will offer to be of huge help.

2. Is to never take what we have for granted. We have many things, yet some people are jealous of people who have more, instead of appreciating the good life they live.

Thank you for sparing your time to read my experience, and I hope this will push you to go out and help a soul.
